"Where the East meets the West with the Best"
The Bay City Poultry Club was founded in 1921 by a group of dedicated poultry enthusiasts in Bay City, Michigan. For many years the club held its annual "Midwest Roundup" shows in various locations around Michigan, including Bay City, Midland, and Alma. In 2007 the club changed its name to the Michigan Poultry Fanciers, the show name was changed to "The Fowl Fest" and the show moved to Frankenmuth. In 2011 the show was moved to Birch Run and from 2011 to 2014 an additional spring show in Alma was added. In 2021 the fall show moved to Chesaning.


The Fowl Fest is presented annually by Michigan Poultry Fanciers, a tax-exempt, 501(c)(6), non-profit corporation.
The mission of Michigan Poultry Fanciers, is to encourage the exhibition of standard bred poultry by holding an annual poultry show in Michigan – the Fall Fowl Fest.

We are a small family business producing hard cider. Our cider is produced from apples native to our orchard, Eastman's Antique Apples, which produces over 1200 varieties of antique and heritage apples from around the world including France, Germany, England, and Turkey. Many of our varieties are known to produce a superior hard cider, such as Arkansas Black, Nonpareil, Yarlington Mill, Foxwhelp, and many more.

Cider began its decline from the most popular beverage in the nation around the late 1800s due to several unrelated forces, and as beer making and prohibition were added into history, cider was forgotten as the favored beverage. We aim to produce cider that brings it back into the favor it once flourished in, making it forgotten no more.

We aim to produce cider reminiscent of our forefathers and founders - when cider was safer than water and the preferred drink of presidents and farm workers alike. We are enjoying a return to drinking cider across the nation and country, and look forward to providing this unique beverage with a great history and taste.

The Resonators perform a variety of musical styles on an array of mallet keyboards, drums, timpani, Latin percussion, and accessories of all kinds, along with some unconventional items such as trash cans, shop tools, and brake drums – a resourceful bunch! Growing up as a young woman one of her favorite vocalists was Linda Ronstadt. Michele listened to her music over and over again and felt such a connection to her music that spanned over five decades and all genres. After hearing that Linda was retiring from music and could no longer sing due to a tragic diagnosis of Parkinson's, Michele was saddened and knew she wanted to one day pay tribute to this iconic performer who had influenced her singing style.

Backed by some of Michigan's most talented musicians, Michele and The Straight Eights take you on a musical journey of Linda's timeless hits, powerful ballads, including her biggest rock hits from the 70’s, her alternative country hits, and her softer 80’s rock ballads. This exciting tribute will have you singing and swaying along, as you are taken back in time by Michele's velvety voice and stunning resemblance to Linda Ronstadt.

Retired from a radio and television play-by-play career that spanned 26 years and more than 1,500 broadcasts in the National Hockey League and professional baseball, Mike’s musical interests now blend the woods, the water and the wildlife with the North Country music you’ll hear in his shows.

His portrayal of Gordon Lightfoot is simply an honest effort to entertain with an accurate representation of a Lightfoot concert. Mike plays the role of “Gord” in first person, yet avoids saying “I” or “me” in his storytelling of the songs and the circumstances of how they were written. His tireless research and personal interaction with Lightfoot have lead to accurate mannerisms, speaking patterns, clothing, and of course identical guitars used by the Canadian icon on stage.

Rarely does he break character, usually only to introduce the band or give a personal message before the conclusion of the show.

Greater Midland Community Center's big band Blast from the Past consists of talented musicians who come together to play music for the community.

A bevy of Michigan’s most well-regarded breweries, wineries, and cideries (and some rising up-and-comers) will be sampling their wares in the outdoor tasting tent. While perusing the tasting tent, you’ll also enjoy live music throughout the afternoon.

Each ticket holder will receive a commemorative tasting cup and six complimentary drink tickets. Additional sampling tickets may be purchased at the event.

Rebel Line kicked off its journey in May of 2017 and hasn't slowed down since. With a mix of country and rock spanning the 70s through now, they know how to fill a dance floor and keep the energy going all night. These 4 musicians have years of combined experience in some of the biggest bands in Michigan, and have played venues of all sizes throughout the Midwest.

Established in 2017 Rebel Line is ready to come to a town near you! We are a high energetic band who loves to keep everyone singing and dancing all night long! We have traveled and performed at many different venues across the great state of Michigan, and we look forward to performing at many more as the years go on! 2018 was a big year for the band as lead singer Travis Paten took home the trophy for Review Magazines best country male vocalist of the year! Barry Clevenger was also nominated for best country musician and Rebel Line was nominated for best country band! We look forward to taking the next step as a band as we will be releasing our first EP by the end of summer 2019. The future is bright and we are glad we have you all to be a part of this ride!
